Co-Sleeping (poem)

I awaken to find

tiny hands cupping my breast,

nipple at but not in your mouth,

cherub cheeks & long lashes.

You seem to glow in the night

So easefully tucked into my body.

Tender moments in the moon’s cast shadows;

Quiet breaths and cricket song.

A deep contented sigh.
