Our Origin Story.
It all started beneath a tree.
A massive, sprawling oak tree in the center of a small college-town park. The perfect cooling shade to protect from the suffocating Texas heat. A place where friends met up in movement to let go of heavy emotions, to celebrate, to just be. This was what we called the “Home-Tree”.
One of those friends was a Girl who lived in a Treehouse.
Yes, really. A secluded space in “the Avenues”, unassuming & magical. A place where she could explore her souls deepest calling, the metaphysical. A container for art, movement & healing. A space that sprung a well of learning that grew into a roaring passion for the environment, healing through the arts, energy work and teaching.
You can take the girl outta the treehouse…
But you cant take the treehouse outta the girl.
Meet Kyrstin!
Founder
Kyrstin Ezzell is a teacher, choreographer, performer, wife, mother, tea witch, and energy worker from Houston, TX. She uses her background in dance, theatre, and costuming to bring characters to life in studios, on stage, and at festivals around the country. Her approach to teaching takes a holistic and meditative spin on technique, & conditioning. Focusing on whole body fitness and authentic care-free movement. She believes dance & flow are a deep expression of the soul and delights in sharing this feeling with her students.
